Rose Griffin works as a Network Technician for the ESB. She joined the ESB following her Leaving Cert after seeing the Electical apprenticship advertised on her school noticeboard. The apprenticship took four years and combined on the job training with off the job lectures and exams.  Having completed her apprenticship, she applied for a permanent position with the ESB, as a Network Technician and was delighted when she got the job.

Louis has been a Garda for over 30 years and has reached the rank of Assistant Commissioner with special responsibility for Strategy and Training. During the course of his career he has spent time on the beat, and worked up to positions of Inspector and Superintendent before his current role. He qualified as a Barrister at Law, and has several other Higher education awards, all taken during his time as a Garda.

Carol works for Ernst & Young and is based in Waterford. She choose to do Accountancy and Finance in DCU, and went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant. She then completed her AITI tax exams with the Irish Taxation Institute and qualified as a Registered Tax Consultant.

Padraig Parle is working as a Special Needs Teacher in the Catherine McAuley school in Dublin.  He did a BA in Fine Art from DIT and followed this with a  H. DIP in Primary Education from the Froebel College of Education in Blackrock.  He teaches a class of nine children with a learning disabiltiy in the area of reading.

Daren Gibney is a Registered Tax Consultant who runs Tax Computer Systems operations in Ireland. He did a Business and Legal Studies (BBLS) Degree in UCD. Following this he embarked on a training contract with KPMG, during which he studied for and completed his tax qualifications  and was awarded the AITI, which is the Associateship of the Irish Taxation Institute.
