Justine is from New Zealand and completed her secondary education and primary degree there. She moved to London and worked in the Banking sector for a while. She then studied to become a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA), and after moving to Dublin took up a position in the ESB.

Trevor Laffan is a Community Garda working in Cork City. He did his training in Templemore College, Co Tipperary.  His main role is the supervision of those employed in community policing and the provision of guidance in the implementation of the policing plan.

Elaine is a Project Engineer with Michael Punch & Partners and specialises in structural engineering. She graduated from UCD with a Bachelor of Engineering and attained Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland in 2007. As Project Engineer she now works with both clients and design teams on complex construction projects.

Paul Shortt is an Industrial Relations Officer in the Advisory Section of the Labour Relations Commission.  Paul joined the Civil Service 9 years ago as a Clerical Officer.  He has worked in a number of Government Departments, including working with the Australian Civil Service on an exchange programme and has had a number of promotions to his current position.

Aoife works as an Occupational Psychologist for the Public Appointments Service and is based in Dublin. After completing her primary degree, she completed her Masters in Occupational Psychology in the University of Manchester. She is directly involved in the selecting and designing of aptitude tests for various roles in the Civil Service, and in interpreting the results of these.
