Careers rarely develop the way we plan them. Our career path often takes many twists and turns, with particular events, choices and people influencing our direction.
We asked Anne Nutley from Bank of Ireland to give some advice for people considering this job:
Anyone considering this job would need to be patient, warm, a good listener and customer focused. However in the long run what you need most of all is common sense.
If you are considering returning to the work force don't sell yourself short. Remember all the life experience you have acquired rearing a family and running a household.
Believe in yourself and go for it!

Undergraduate awards typically reflect three to five years of study after secondary school and include Ordinary (Level 7) and Honours Bachelor Degrees and Higher Diplomas (Level 8's).
Undergraduate awards may be achieved directly or through a series of progression steps. Learners may choose to progress upwards from a Level 5 to a Level 6, Level 7 and finally a Level 8.
Undergraduate awards are awarded by the HETAC or Higher Education Institutes.
3rd level Graduates are qualified for a wide range of occupations, and their education prepares them for roles involving specific skills, and for coordinating, supervising, managing, or training others. Examples include accountants, sales managers, computer programmers, teachers, chemists, environmental engineers, criminal investigators, and financial analysts.

his four-year honours degree in Art is a dynamic programme unique to the Wexford Campus. Students are provided with the opportunity to gain creative skills, creative knowledge, aesthetic awareness and professional experiences in contemporary visual art. The programme covers painting, sculpture, digital media, professional practice as well as art history, film studies and cultural studies. The programme focuses on learning by doing with students actively working on creative projects in a studio context, as well as in IT labs and traditional lectures.

The programmes will equip students with the confidence, experience and skills needed to operate as a professional artist or seek a career in the broader arts world and creative industries.
