Careers rarely develop the way we plan them. Our career path often takes many twists and turns, with particular events, choices and people influencing our direction.
We asked Ronan Quinn from An Garda Síochána to give some advice for people considering this job:
|You need to look forward to working and interacting with the public for most of your day. Can you arrive at a situation where there are a number of people arguing and they listen to you when you take control? You must have an interest in helping people, and you must have utter integrity.|
