Analytical Science involves examining the composition and inner workings of a material or tissue. The subject covers a broad range of sciences, including physics, maths, applied computing, and instrumentation, but particularly focuses on chemistry and biology.
Forensics involves analysing substances to discover what they are made of, or where they came from. It is famously used in crime solving, though is also employed in monitoring pollutants and in chemistry research.
