Production management involves co-ordinating and controlling all the activities required to make a product. This course has a mixture of engineering and business subjects, which develop a strong understanding of both the technical and the managerial aspects of production and the necessary support operations such as supply-chain management, quality systems, accounting and human resources. Production Management (LM063) has been re-launched as Technology Management and has changed substantially and therefore the points for Production Management in 2011 may not be an accurate guide to the points for Technology Management in 2012.
