blank Course Summary... blank

Electronic engineering, like electrical engineering, is concerned with electrical systems. However, electronic engineering is more concerned with light current systems, where electricity is used as a carrier of information, such as in computers, televisions, mp3 players, etc.

This course provides a good grounding in the fundamentals of electricity and maths, with their applications to computer systems, communications systems, modern automobiles, and aerospace. Students specialise in either applied electronic design, communications systems, or electronics automation and robotics in year 3.
