Civil engineering includes the planning, designing, construction, and maintenance of structures, and altering geography to suit human needs. This may include the construction of railroads, dams, bridges, tunnels, or buildings.
This course gives students a thorough knowledge of the building materials in use and the standards required in attaining structures of high quality in terms of design specification and construction. There is a follow-on Level 8 degree available.
