Midwives provide the necessary supervision, care and advice to women during pregnancy, labour and the postpartum period. They conduct deliveries, and offer care for the newborn infant.Graduates can expect to gain employment as midwives throughout the Irish health services.
This course is for mature students only; students who are aged 23 or over on first of January on the year of application.
