Electrical engineering is concerned with electrical systems. Electronic engineering is more concerned with light current systems, where electricity is used as a carrier of information, such as with computers and televisions etc.
This course provides an introduction to electronic engineering. Based on exam results, in the second year learners can branch into either electronic engineering (DC191), telecommunications engineering (DC192) or digital media engineering (DC199).
