Architecture is the art and science of planning, designing and overseeing the construction of a building; which is affordable and functional for the user.

This course covers design technology, building materials, civilisation studies, chemistry, physics, building services, structural engineering, computers, and studies in space and form.

Students are required to gain professional experience in an architectural office during the summer. Architectural design projects are assigned throughout the course,.

Entry involves a combined score of interview, aptitude test and Leaving Cert.
