Computer science is the study of everything to do with computers, and how they can be used to solve practical problems.
This course places a large emphasis on computer software topics. During years 3 and 4, there is the opportunity to specialise in either multimedia technology, computer security, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, or computer graphics. Students can opt for a degree in computer science (honours), or computer science and economics (joint honours).
Students can get their degree in either Computer Science or Computer Science (Web Systems Engineering). There is a common first year and students make their choice at the end of first year
