The BSc (Hons) (Common Entry) is designed for applicants who wish to enter Science in CIT but are undecided about or wish to postpone selecting a designated Chemistry or Physics qualification until after they have had an opportunity to experience both disciplines.
From 2013, entrants to this course, while still having an option to choose courses in the Department of Applied Physics and Instrumentation and the Department of Chemistry at the end of Semester 1, will no longer have an option to choose courses in the Department of Biological Sciences.
