Mechanical engineering is concerned with the design, maintenance and development of machines and equipment, ranging from jet engines to minute instruments used in medicine and surgery.
This course provides an Introduction to engineering principles and their application to industrial problems. There is a balance between theoretical and practical studies, Two follow-on degrees available; the Bachelor Degree in manufacturing technology, and the Bachelor Degree in mechanical technology.
