Accounting is the language of finance and business. Accountants compile, analyse, interpret and communicate essential information about the operations of a business – whether that business be a small firm, a publicly traded corporation or an NGO (non-governmental organisation).Decisions are made based on the information provided by accountants; good accounting is crucial to any organisation's success. As a student, you will gain an excellent set of technical accounting skills, along with the capacity for financial analysis and the measurement of performance in business. You will also develop numeracy skills and a strong attention to detail.
