Astronomy is the scientific study of celestial objects (stars, planets, comets, asteroids) and phenomena (cosmic radiation, dark energy).

Students may specialise in either astrophysics, physics, education for physical sciences (includes both physics and chemistry), applied maths and physics (joint honours), or maths and physics (joint honours).
