Economics is a social science which studies the distribution of resources in society in the form of goods, services, and labour. It covers topics such as how goods are priced, how banks function, and how consumers behave in different markets.
This course will enable the student to develop critical and analytical skills through the study of economics and sociology. In the final year, the student will have the opportunity to undertake a substantial research project on a chosen subject.
