Energy engineering is required to source, design, convert, transmit and supply useful energy to meet our needs for electricity, mobility and heating and cooling. There is a five-month paid work placement at the end of the third year in the energy sector in Ireland or abroad. Leaving Cert Technology now accepted as a lab science subject requirement
