I would say that the skills of accountants/tax advisors are in demand in all economic situations. An ability to work well with numbers is important. However, an ability to work well with people is just as important if not more so, as the information in the numerical analysis has to be communicated to all business users. It’s a long road but the end result is worth the effort. The chartered accountant qualification is internationally recognised and it is very easy to work and travel abroad. Although I have not worked overseas, I have travelled extensively. Working hard and saving harder helped me to fund my trips. Some would argue that being an accountant makes it easier to save!

Administrative?
Administrative
Administrative people are interested in work that offers security and a sense of being part of a larger process. They may be at their best operating under supervisors who give clear guidelines, and performing routine tasks in a methodical and reliable way.

They tend to enjoy clerical and most forms of office work, where they perform essential administrative duties. They often form the backbone of large and small organisations alike. They may enjoy being in charge of office filing systems, and using computers and other office equipment to keep things running smoothly. They usually like routine work hours and prefer comfortable indoor workplaces.
