Philosophy is the study of general and fundamental problems concerning matters such as existence, knowledge, truth, justice, beauty, validity, mind, and language.Students are introduced to the ideas of the ancient and modern philosophers who have helped to shape western culture.
As part of an Arts degree, this is one of four subjects you choose from a menu of subjects in first year. You continue with two of your chosen First Year subjects in second and third year. You may have an option to spend an additional year studying abroad.
