Pharmaceutical science is the practice of creating drugs. The field draws from a wide range of other sciences, including mathematics, chemical engineering, and biology.

This course begins by studying chemistry, biology, physics, technology, and statistics for the first two years. Students then specialise in either traditional pharmaceutics or biopharmaceutics.
