Restricted course. Entry test in written and aural musical tests. You are required to have achieved a performance standard with a musical instrument equivalent to grade 7 of a recognised exam body.
Performance aspect of music is stressed on the course with chamber music, orchestral conducting, vocal and choral studies forming an integral part of the syllabus. Each student studies two instruments to a high level of performance.
