Marketing covers everything from company culture and philisophy through to market research, new business/product development, advertising and promotion, PR (public or press relations), and all of the sales functions. It is the process by which a company decides what it will sell, to whom, when and how, and then does it. This course covers a combination of business and marketing, with innovation and technology. A range of technologies, from information and communication technology to emerging life sciences and biotechnology are introduced. In addition, areas of creativity, discovery, and innovation are explored. There is a year-long paid work placement during Year 3.
