Accounting is the process of compiling financial data, analysisting it and presenting it in reports that can be easily interpreted by others. These financial reports are crucial for business managers and owners to help them make informed and sound decisions. Human resource managemnet is focused on attracting and maintaining employees in an organisation and ensuring that the best use is made of their talents and abilities.
For the second and third years of this course, student specialise in either accounting or human resource management.

The accounting graduates may pursue careers in accounting, taxation, banking or finance. This is one of the few graduate courses in the country which covers taxation over two years. Human resource management graduates are entitled to full graduate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
