Actuaries are people who examine a situation to estimate the risk of something happening, by using mathematics.

Finance encompasses topics such as economics, accounting, statistics, and investment, all with the focus on managing money efficiently.

Students specialise to take either a BSc in mathematical sciences or a BSc in financial and actuarial mathematics in year 3 and 4. Industrial placement during the third year.

Higher Maths expected however OA1 or OA2 in Maths may be acceptable
