Biochemistry is the study of living cells (or components of living cells) and the medical/industrial applications of them.
During the first year, this course covers biology, industrial biochemistry, introductory computing, chemistry, maths, and physics. The second and subsequent years build upon these fundamentals, and begins to focus upon more advanced aspects of the core degree subjects.
