The BEng (Hons) Degree in Electronic Engineering is a strong technically focused programme and is targeted at producing graduate design engineers.

Electronic engineering is more concerned with light current systems, where electricity is used as a carrier of information, such as computers, televisions, CD player.

Most Electronic Engineers work in office buildings, laboratories, or industrial plants. Others may spend time outdoors at telecommunication sites and production sites, where they monitor or direct operations or solve onsite problems. Some engineers travel extensively to plants or worksites. Supervisory engineers are responsible for major components of a design project or entire design projects.
