The Higher Certificate in Business and Office Management is a two year programme, giving students an opportunity to gain knowledge of essential business principles and functions, and to acquire relevant skills and competences in the areas of IT and multimedia.
Designed around six specialisations, the key areas of study include: management, marketing, finance, the soft skills of teamwork and public relations, graphic design and web development with a particular emphasis on the technologies which enhance office management.

On completion of this programme, students will possess the broad range of skills and capabilities required at the administration lever of business practice. These competencies will facilitate progression to a career within a wide range of industries which require a sound knowledge of business with practical computing and multimedia skills.
Graduates can benefit from further education by using their Higher Certificate as a pathway to study at degree, honours degree and postgraduate level. Students who successfully complete this programme will be eligible to progress to the Level 7 Bachelor of Business Degree programme offered by Tipperary Institute or to equivalent programmes.
