Architectural technology involves drawing accurate diagrams which includes all the details of a building, such as wall thickness, plumbing, and insulation. It also covers surveying, construction law and regulations, the various technologies and building materials used in construction, and CAD (computer aided drawing).
The course is project orientated and much of the time is spent working in a studio environment.
Some subjects are graded on a continuous assessment basis, others are graded by an end-of-year exam.
