Entry to all engineering courses now through this route with the exception of DN078 - Structural Engineering with Architecture.
Students share a common first year, before specialising in either Chemical/Bioprocess, Civil, Electrical/Electronic, or Mechanical engineering.
In addition there are six new taught Masters programmes in the areas of Biomedical, Civil, Electronic and Computer, Energy Systems, Engineering with Business, and Mechanical Engineering.

John Oliver works in Research and Development in HP. He has been with the company since their start up 13 years ago. His current job is lead engineer in one of our product development groups. He graduated as a Chemical Engineer from UCD.

Maria O'Neill
Maria works as an Assistant Resident Engineer supervising a water supply scheme for the Local Authorities. She did her Leaving Cert in St. Davids in Greystones, and went on to UCD to complete a Civil Engineering Degree.

Elaine Dillon
Elaine is a Project Engineer with Michael Punch & Partners and specialises in structural engineering. She graduated from UCD with a Bachelor of Engineering and attained Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland in 2007. As Project Engineer she now works with both clients and design teams on complex construction projects.

Afra Ronayne
Afra enjoyed Physics and Maths in her Leaving cert and went on to do Mechanical Engineering in University College Dublin. She followed up on an advertisement for jobs on the College noticeboard and was successful in getting a job with ESBI.

Natasha Ibanez has a Bachelors of Engineering from UCD, where she specialised in Mechanical Engineering. She is currently working on a project in the Ukraine with Irish Cement, building a new cement line.

Chemical Engineer
Colm Hofler
After leaving school, Colm went to UCD to study Chemical Engineering, and then on to work with Irish Cement as a Process Engineer. He moved within the CRH Group to Switzerland and during his time there completed an MBA, which has opened many new opportunities within the Group.
