Careers rarely develop the way we plan them. Our career path often takes many twists and turns, with particular events, choices and people influencing our direction.
We asked John McDonagh from Lidl to give some advice for people considering this job:
The position of Construction Manager with Lidl is very versatile and fast paced. It would be important for anyone considering this as a career option to make sure they are easily adaptable, highly organised and have a very hands on approach to Project Management.
Being a good multi-tasker is important, as well as the ability to take control of situations and delegate work to relevant staff and departments with confidence.
