Forensic science is the practice of examining physical materiel to better understand the nature of an event or item. It is famously used by forensic detectives, but is also used in archaeology and meteorology.
This course covers standard forensic techniques, but also includes those used in the pharmaceutical industry, such as drugs analysis and DNA fingerprinting. There is a six-month work placement during year 3.
