This one-year full-time course is designed to meet the needs of those seeking administrative and front office roles as medical secretaries in the public or private sector.

Students will gain essential knowledge and skills for work in these healthcare settings. Medical Secretaries need excellent communication skills in helping doctors to help their patients. They are usually responsible for scheduling appointments, billing patients, compiling medical charts and reports and handling correspondence. They may also assist doctors with writing reports, arrange for patient hospitalisation, bill insurance companies and order supplies.
