The Investigative person will usually find a particular area of science to be of interest. They are inclined toward intellectual and analytical activities and enjoy observation and theory. They may prefer thought to action, and enjoy the challenge of solving problems with clever technology. They will often follow the latest developments in their chosen field, and prefer mentally stimulating environments.

Description...
This is a one year full time course offering an introduction to the theory and practice of social studies and social care. This course will interest those wishing to explore and develop their knowledge and practical experience of social issues and practice.

It equips the student with the basic skills to work in community agencies such as family resource centres, youth organisations, community and voluntary organisations. This course may also assist applications to certain third level institutions.
