It is essential to be a very patient and organised person. Also you must have a sense of humour, be easy going and not take yourself too seriously.

Realists are usually interested in 'things' - such as buildings, mechanics, equipment, tools, electronics etc. Their primary focus is dealing with these - as in building, fixing, operating or designing them. Involvement in these areas leads to high manual skills, or a fine aptitude for practical design - as found in the various forms of engineering.

Realists like to find practical solutions to problems using tools, technology and skilled work. Realists usually prefer to be active in their work environment, often do most of their work alone, and enjoy taking decisive action with a minimum amount of discussion and paperwork.

Course Duration:

As this full Certificate Course is being offered on a Modular Full-time or Part-time basis each module is expected to cover 150 hours.

Part-time over 9 Months Saturdays from 10-5 or two nights per week.

Work Experience:

Learners will be advised at commencement of each module the Work Experience Requirements

Preferred Entry Level:

  • The minimum age of entry is 17 Years
  • Leaving Certificate Standard or relevant life / work experience
  • Letter of introduction to accompany application and Booking Deposit.
