Deirdre Lavelle works as a Care Assistant in St Michael's House. Having worked for a number of years as a Special Needs Assistant she applied for a job in St Michael's House. She has completed a foundation course on Skills in Counselling from NUI Maynooth. She is currently studying for a B.A. in Social Studies (Disability) with the Open Training College.

Marie O'Donovan studied Civil, Structural & Environmental Engineering in Trinity College, which is a 4 year honors degree course. She is now working as an Environmental Officer for Roadstone Provinces Ltd., working in the south of the country.  She has recently been involved in achieving company wide accreditation of the ISO 14001, an Environmental Management System.

Lisa Berry is a Restaurant Manager with McDonalds Ireland having started as a Trainee Manager in 2000.  She is responsible for all aspects of running the restaurant and enjoys the variety, challenge and responsibility that this gives her.  She is currently completing a HETAC Level 6 qualification in conjunction with McDonalds and National College Ireland in First-Line Management.

He completed the IATI accounting technician course and following a 2 year stint in the banking sector where he completed the Financial Services exams and the Investment Advisor exams through the Institute of Bankers in Ireland he returned to the accountancy world and completed a Chartered Accountancy Contract.

Siobhan Canny is a Midwife working in Galway Regional Hospital. After her Leaving Certificate she completed a Certificate in Nursing, a Higher Diploma in Midwifery, and a BA in Midwifery. Her commitment to the profession is thorough, and she continues to upskill within the area.

David works as an AITI Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) for his own company, Clancy & Associates, based in Dublin, which he setup in 1998. He completed his Leaving Cert in St. Josephs CBS, Fairview, and went on to do a BBS (Bachelor of Business Studies) in DCU (Dublin City University). He then completed the AITI Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification with the Irish Tax Institute.
