What subjects did you take in school and how have these influenced your career path?
I took all the usual subjects EXCEPT Accounting and Business Organization. I think that not doing any business subjects in secondary school led me onto choosing my college course – Business and Legal Studies in UCD. I felt that as a life skill I needed to have an idea of business and I am really glad I chose that course. It gave me the opportunity to pursue either a career in business or in law and interestingly I found that the legal knowledge I gained in college was of great benefit to me when training to be a Registered Tax Consultant.
