 A new course, the first such type in Ireland, is being offered next September by Atlantic AirVenture. It is designed for those interested in training /re training, or employment within the Aviation Industry or related support businesses, or for those already working in the aviation industry but without any formal aeronautical training and would like to further your own knowledge.
- Considering or Intending application for Aircraft Mechanics Apprenticeship with an MRO Maintenance Repair and Overhaul facility FAS Aircraft Mechanical Apprentice programme or as a Direct Entry Apprentice with an Airline or Air Corps
- Considering an Aviation related Diploma or Degree Course in an Institute of Technology or University.
- Considering a career as Commercial Pilot
- Interested in a career as an Air Traffic Controller.
COURSE OBJECTIVE The aim of this course is to improve the participants knowledge and understanding of the main disciplines within aerospace and aviation industry. It provides practical Information on training options and routes available within the industry for those starting out This course will equip participants with a good understanding and foundation level of knowledge before they enter further studies or training.
If you already work in the aviation industry and have no formal training but work with those who do, this course is an ideal way to improve your knowledge.
ABOUT THE COURSE 1 Evening per week x 8 weeks 6.30 X 9.30 3 hrs per evening. All instructors are Industry Professionals, qualified in their particular fields. This is a unique chance to see the industry from the inside out and gain first hand knowledge and advise on how you can proceed further.
