I would advise them to get themselves physically fit and to maintain it. I would also say that a sense of humour is very important and the ability to laugh at themselves. They should have self discipline and be prepared to accept imposed discipline. Punctuality is very important as is respect for others. If they had sporting interests that would be a help.

Enterprising people like situations that involve using resources for personal or corporate economic gain. Such people may have an opportunistic frame of mind, and like commerce, trade and making deals. Some are drawn to sales and marketing occupations. Many will eventually end up owning their own business, or managing a section in larger organisations. They tend to be very goal-oriented, and work best when focused on a target. Some have an entrepreneurial inclination.

100 Jobs with Nissan Generation Next Apprenticeship Academy - Nissan Ireland nationwide motor technician apprenticeship scheme NOW open for registration.

Air Corps Trainee Technicians Competition OPEN - The Air Corps is now accepting applications for the Trainee Military Aircraft Technician scheme. The closing date for applications is Friday 27th February 2015.

45 New Jobs for Wexford with Zurich - 45 new jobs have been announced for Wexford with Zurich Insurance. The new roles are NOW open for applications.

Fidelity Investments Looking to Hire 100 New Staff in 2015 - Financial service provider Fidelity Investments are hiring 100 new staff in 2015, following the company’s announcement of expansion in December last with the opening of a second office in Dublin.

100 New Jobs for Galway with Steeltech Sheds - 100 jobs are to be created in Tuam, Co Galway, between now and the end of 2017 as Steeltech Sheds plans to relocate to a new base there. The company says it is recruiting new staff on an ongoing basis.

IT Alliance announces 100 new Tech Jobs - Dublin-based IT outsourcing company IT Alliance is expanding significantly as the Irish tech jobs market continues to improve. Already employing 500 people, the company plans to expand their workforce by hiring 100 new staff.

43 Jobs for Cork with Multilingual Call Centre Voxpro - Voxpro is to create 43 new jobs at its multi-lingual support call centre in Cork.

KBC Bank Ireland to Create 100 New Jobs - KBC Bank Ireland expects to create about 100 new jobs in Ireland this year as it continues its retail expansion by opening five additional branches to bring its total to 15.

50 Jobs announced with Kildare Lab Testing Company - ALT is an analytical testing service provider to the food industry. The company has created 50 jobs in the past 18 months, and plans to double the workforce to 100 laboratory staff this year.

20 New Jobs with iConnect - 20 new jobs are to be created following the acquisition of Galway firm Screenway by iConnect.

Over 80 Jobs for Cavan with Lakeland expansion - Lakeland Dairies is set to create 81 jobs over the next five years at its new processing facility in Bailieborough, Co Cavan. 


Regional Action Plan for Jobs Launched - The Government has announced details of its 5-year plan to invest €250m in eight regional locations in Ireland, towards achieving a greater spread of job growth country.
