Be as open to advice and teaching as possible. Craft your own methods and ways of doing things and always continue to learn and devlop yourself and your skills.

You need to enjoy working with your hands.

The Social person's interests focus on some aspect of those people in their environment. In all cases the social person enjoys the personal contact of other people in preference to the impersonal dealings with things, data and ideas found in other groups.

Many will seek out positions where there is direct contact with the public in some advisory role, whether a receptionist or a counsellor. Social people are motivated by an interest in different types of people, and like diversity in their work environments. Many are drawn towards careers in the caring professions and social welfare area, whilst others prefer teaching and other 'informing' roles.

Recruitment Open Evening for 60 jobs with Hays

Recruitment company Hays has announced 60 full-time jobs for its Irish offices. The roles on offer are for consultants, across all specialist divisions of the company.

The positions will be based in a variety of locations including:

  • Dublin
  • Cork
  • Galway
  • Limerick

According to the company, these are entry level positions that would be ideally suited to graduates.

Hays will hold a special graduate recruitment open evening on Wednesday 22 April in Chartered Accountants House, Pearse Street, Dublin 2 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Prospective candidates will have the opportunity to find out more about a career in recruitment and meet various Hays employees to discover their experiences of working in recruitment. Candidates also have the opportunity to win a ipad mini on the night.
