40 New Jobs with Miagen for Dublin and Abu Dhabi Offices

Irish headquartered consultancy firm Miagen plans to take on 40 extra new staff between its Dublin and Abu Dhabi offices over the next five years.

Miagen specialises in forecasting, planning and analysis. The announcement follows the company having secured an ongoing contract to consult and implement a financial planning and analysis system for the National Real Estate Company (NREC), one of the largest real estate companies and developers in the Gulf Cooperation Council. NREC is also the prime developer of Abu Dhabi’s US$1bn Reem Mall project.

The announcement was made during Enterprise Ireland’s trade mission to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Qatar led by Richard Bruton, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation.

Established in Ireland, Miagen also has an office in London and specialises in the design and implementation of industry specific models to solve complex financial planning needs.

Miagen currently employs 15 people, most of whom are based in Dublin. It recently opened its first office in Abu Dhabi as part of its five-year strategy to develop its position in the UAE and greater GCC market. Clients there include Etihad Airways, Royal Jet and Aramex and its growth has been supported by Enterprise Ireland.

“This is an exciting time for Miagen and also the NREC – the development of Abu Dhabi’s prestigious Reem Mall and the opening of our office in Abu Dhabi reinforcing the importance and vital need to have a permanent presence in the GCC,” said Miagen CEO Teddy Murphy. ‘’We believe in targeting and working with progressive companies and CFOs who have the desire to innovate and embrace cloud based technology with all the advantages it can offer over traditional systems.’’
