Realist
Realists are usually interested in 'things' - such as buildings, mechanics, equipment, tools, electronics etc. Their primary focus is dealing with these - as in building, fixing, operating or designing them. Involvement in these areas leads to high manual skills, or a fine aptitude for practical design - as found in the various forms of engineering.

Realists like to find practical solutions to problems using tools, technology and skilled work. Realists usually prefer to be active in their work environment, often do most of their work alone, and enjoy taking decisive action with a minimum amount of discussion and paperwork.

25 New Jobs with IT Alliance Group

Dublin cloud outsourcing player I.T. Alliance is to create 25 new jobs as part of the expansion of its project management group.

IT Alliance is now reporting demand for project management personnel right across its divisions, including:

  • Core outsourcing business which provides services to global IT companies
  • Auxillion, which delivers support and transitioning to companies moving to the cloud
  • IT staff resourcing group

The company said hiring will begin at Career Zoo in the Convention Centre, Dublin on Saturday 12th September.

Revenues for the company from project management services alone are on course to reach €10m this year. It already employs 50 project management staff across its divisions out of a total 500 staff.

“As confidence returns to the economy, many organisations are looking to dust down and rapidly implement ICT (information and communications technology) projects which had previously been shelved during the recession,” said Dermot Hore, head of PMO, IT Alliance Group.

Current job vacancies advertised with the company include:

  • Graduate Engineer
  • Software Engineer
  • SharePoint Engineer
