If it is possible to get some work experience during the summer holidays or weekends, it would be great. Find out if there are any positions (voluntary or otherwise) available in your local IT or University. Get involved in a hobby such as model making, this would be very helpful as it would help with dexterity & impart an understanding of the ways in which different materials interact when assembled together.

Enterprising people like situations that involve using resources for personal or corporate economic gain. Such people may have an opportunistic frame of mind, and like commerce, trade and making deals. Some are drawn to sales and marketing occupations. Many will eventually end up owning their own business, or managing a section in larger organisations. They tend to be very goal-oriented, and work best when focused on a target. Some have an entrepreneurial inclination.

30 New Jobs for Galway with Deloitte

Deloitte is to create 30 jobs with the establishment of a Galway office, which will be its fifth location in Ireland.

The new job roles will be at all levels from Graduates to Managers and Senior Managers.

According to the firm, the new office will offer a full suite of services, with a particular focus on audit, accounting and risk advisory, tax, corporate finance and restructuring, and company secretarial services. It will be located in the Galway Financial Services Centre.

Gerard Casey, audit and advisory partner said: “The establishment of this office is a sign of our commitment to the area. What’s more, we are looking forward to meeting talented individuals of a similar mind-set who are interested in joining our team. We’re enthusiastic about the work we can do together.”
