Having an interest in banking is key to succeeding in any role at the Bank of Ireland. In addition, critical thinking skills and the ability to be comfortable with finance and numbers would stand to you greatly.

Realists are usually interested in 'things' - such as buildings, mechanics, equipment, tools, electronics etc. Their primary focus is dealing with these - as in building, fixing, operating or designing them. Involvement in these areas leads to high manual skills, or a fine aptitude for practical design - as found in the various forms of engineering.

Realists like to find practical solutions to problems using tools, technology and skilled work. Realists usually prefer to be active in their work environment, often do most of their work alone, and enjoy taking decisive action with a minimum amount of discussion and paperwork.

DARE and HEAR Advice Clinics Sat 16 Jan

Date for your Diary ~ DARE and HEAR Application Advice Clinics take place Nationwide on 16th January 2016 with the exception of the Wexford clinic which takes place 14th January, Waterford on 19th January and Kerry 21st January.

DARE and HEAR Application Advice Clinics will take place on Saturday, 16th January 2016. The Clinics, which take place nationwide, provide an excellent opportunity for applicants, parents/guardians (and anyone who would like more information on the schemes) to meet face-to-face with DARE and HEAR staff and have their queries answered.

In the context of the changes to DARE for 2016 college applicants, the clinics will be particularly important this year.

Full details on clinic times and locations can be found on the 'Advice Clinic Poster' below and are also available on
