Talk to people currently in the job. Get a few days work experience. Check out the courses (through BIM)

The Investigative person will usually find a particular area of science to be of interest. They are inclined toward intellectual and analytical activities and enjoy observation and theory. They may prefer thought to action, and enjoy the challenge of solving problems with clever technology. They will often follow the latest developments in their chosen field, and prefer mentally stimulating environments.

Deadline for HEAR and DARE CAO Documents

All additional documentation for HEAR and DARE college applicants must reach the CAO by tomorrow, Friday 1st April 2016, 5.15pm.

This is the Latest Possible Date for supporting documents to arrive in CAO. 

The CAO must have received the following in the post by this date to be considered for supplementary entry (e.g. DARE and /or HEAR):

  • Completed Academic Reference /Educational Impact Statement  (SIF section B)
  • Evidence of Disability (SIF section C)
  • Both sections must be completed, signed and stamped.

Details of the documents HEAR applicants must send to the CAO by 1 April 2016 are outlined in the checkilist on page 23 of the HEAR information booklet.

You must return all relevant papaerwork to:

The CAO, Tower House, Eglington Street, Galway, by 17.15pm, fully completed, signed and stamped.

Documents received after the deadline will not be accepted.
