Realist?
Realist
Realists are usually interested in 'things' - such as buildings, mechanics, equipment, tools, electronics etc. Their primary focus is dealing with these - as in building, fixing, operating or designing them. Involvement in these areas leads to high manual skills, or a fine aptitude for practical design - as found in the various forms of engineering.

Realists like to find practical solutions to problems using tools, technology and skilled work. Realists usually prefer to be active in their work environment, often do most of their work alone, and enjoy taking decisive action with a minimum amount of discussion and paperwork.

Calculate your Leaving Cert Points FREE App

Mocks time is just around the corner, so now is the time for Leaving Cert students to add the Points Calculator app to their Exam Toolkit.

For many Leaving Cert students, it takes the Mocks for them to realise that the main event is also not too far away now.

The Mocks give you the ideal opportunity to figure out where you stand for the real thing at the end of the year.  If you go into your mock exams having prepared as best you can, you will gain two vital things for the real event:

An understanding of what you know, and what you don’t know, which will point you clearly towards where you need to focus more for the real thing.

And confidence  - once you do something for the first time, it never seems so bad next time around. Once you have given your mocks 100%, you’ll feel more prepared, be more confident for taking on the Leaving Cert in June and get closer to achieving the results you deserve, and the points you are aiming for.

Be prepared!

Practise, Practise, Practise - don’t just study something once and assume you understand it, keep going back over it until the day of the exam; Practise your exam technique too - be clear about what sections and how many questions are on each paper; get the timing right; answer the question that the paper asked!
