20 New Jobs with MJFlood Technology

IT and cloud services provider, MJ Flood Technology, is set to create 20 new jobs as a result of building Microsoft Office 365 business across Europe.

With headquarters in Dublin and eight regional offices, MJ Flood Technology is part of the MJ Flood Group of companies, a wholly-owned Irish operation established in 1935.

MJ Flood Technology has already added 20 staff to its Office 365 Centre of Excellence in recent months, which brought the total number employed by the company up to 125. The additional 20 staff will also be for job roles in this area.

Office 365 is Microsoft’s cloud-based productivity suite for business, consisting of email, document sharing and online conferencing.

Through partnerships with Telefónica in the UK and Germany, as well as existing business at home and abroad, MJ Flood Technology is now supporting over 75,000 active Microsoft Office 365 business users across Europe. The most recent deal was signed with Telefonica Germany, which involves the Irish company supporting the launch of Office 365 in the German business market.

“The export of cloud services has been a significant source of revenue for us over the last 18 months and our centre of excellence for Office 365 sales, activation and support, in operation since mid- 2011, has been hailed by Microsoft globally as best-in-class,” said Brian Murphy, director of cloud services with MJ Flood Technology. “We believe there are significant opportunities to work with global internet service providers and pan-European telecoms services providers, who are hoping to change their business model by combining application bundling with traditional fixed line or mobile services.”

The new job roles have not yet been advertised. Information will be added as they become available.
