IDA emerging companies create 100 jobs

Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton TD today, announced the creation of 100 new jobs in 4 new IDA client companies in the emerging business sector in addition to the establishment of headquarter operations by 2 other new emerging companies.

The jobs are to be created by:

  • Red 5 Studios, an online games developer, which is to establish its European Headquarters in Cork, with the creation of 30 jobs.
  • Aasonn, a global human capital management (HCM) and technology services company which is to establish its European headquarters in Dublin with the creation of 30 new jobs and
  • Tibolli Beauty Corp, provider of GK Hair products which is to establish its E.U. headquarters in Dublin, creating 25 jobs in customer support and multi lingual marketing roles.
  • Qualvu Inc., a key emerging player in the provision of web-based qualitative research, which is to establish its EMEA headquarters in Dublin with the creation of 15 new jobs.
  • Infobright, a Toronto based Analytics company which is to locate its EMEA Headquarters along with a Customer Support Centre in Dublin
  • Md7, an operations and financial services company which is to establish its European HQ in Dublin.

Welcoming the announcement, Barry O’Leary, CEO of IDA Ireland said, ‘The announcements today from 6 new companies at emerging stage, with the creation of 100 new jobs, is very welcome news for Ireland and further adds to our reputation as a host for emerging companies. The importance of companies internationalising at an early stage has never been greater and Ireland provides a great environment in which to do this. Ireland has built a strong reputation as an international hub for a variety of business sectors and hosts the top ten born on the internet companies including Twitter, Google, eBay/PayPal and Facebook. IDA Ireland’s strategy Horizon 2020, identifies winning investment from emerging sectors as one of its key targets and it is encouraging to see that since the start of 2012 alone, 40 emerging-stage companies have decided to set up FDI operations in Ireland.’

Realist
Realists are usually interested in 'things' - such as buildings, mechanics, equipment, tools, electronics etc. Their primary focus is dealing with these - as in building, fixing, operating or designing them. Involvement in these areas leads to high manual skills, or a fine aptitude for practical design - as found in the various forms of engineering.

Realists like to find practical solutions to problems using tools, technology and skilled work. Realists usually prefer to be active in their work environment, often do most of their work alone, and enjoy taking decisive action with a minimum amount of discussion and paperwork.
