IDG creates 125 jobs in Dublin

THE world's leading research, media and technology company has created 125 jobs in Dublin city centre.

International Data Group (IDG) Connect has already filled half the positions and will hire another 65 staff in data analysis, campaign management and telephone research in the coming 18 months.

Located in Great Strand Street in Dublin's north inner city, the office will gather intelligence into Connect's database and deliver real insight into the global marketplace.

IDG Connect chief executive John P O'Malley said Ireland offers the perfect mix of core skills, high levels of education, an established infrastructure and multi-lingual labour pool to ensure this is a success. "We are a fast-growing business, focused on development, and our database lies at the heart of all initiatives," he said. "Good data intelligence and high-quality research are fundamental to IDG Connect's continued global expansion and I look forward to working closely with IDA Ireland to achieve our business goals." IDG Connect is a generation division of International Data Group.
