What are the main occupation types employed?

Lidl’s 160 stores throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland are the lifeblood of the organisation. A comprehensive and structured on-the-job training programme is provided for all personnel who work in our stores.

Previous experience in retail or in a sales/marketing or management capacity is an advantage for Store Manager positions.  An essential attribute for all sales positions is a passion for retail and a desire to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. 
Sales Operations Managers are typically graduates with a minimum 2.1 degree in any discipline with management experience.

Our Head Office is based in Newbridge, Co. Kildare. We regularly provide career opportunities at various levels in the functional areas of our business. We are focussed on recruiting individuals who wish to pursue a challenging and rewarding career path within the company.

In addition we have four Regional Distribution Centres in Charleville (Co. Cork), Mullingar (Co. Westmeath), Newbridge (Co. Kildare) and Nutts Corner (Co. Antrim).

Our Head Office is also located in Newbridge, Co. Kildare.
