What are the main occupation types employed?

At Intel Ireland we regularly recruit from the following disciplines:

Intel Graduate & Internship Opportunities:
There are currently graduate opportunities within the Silicon development group works with the Intel Architecture Group worldwide to design the next generation leading edge technology products.

The Fab24 facility produces microprocessors on multiple process technologies and is one of Intel’s most technologically advanced high-volume manufacturing plants in the world.

What locations do you operate from?

Intel has approx. 90,000 employees located in over 55 countries around the world.  We currently operate from two locations in Ireland.

  1. The first Intel site in Ireland is based in Leixlip on a large campus in North Kildare. Two operational semiconductor factories are based in Leixlip and our latest and most advanced facility F24 is the only Intel facility of it's kind in Europe.
  2. Our second location in Ireland is based in Shannon, Co.Clare where we host a development and business centre. Intel Shannon is the European base for the embedded businesses of Digital Enterprise group and home to the technical marketing and business development teams.

 


What are the current employment trends?

There is a skills shortage in the information, communication and technology  sectors at both graduate and experienced levels.

People with strong technical qualifications/experience are currently in demand and this trend is set to continue.

We also need more candidates at PHD level for our chemical process engineering roles.
